Rapper Kanye West stole the show at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night when he announced he would run for president of the United States in 2020.

Miley Cyrus (22) var programleder for kveldens VMA-show, og hun stilte i et minimalt antrekk på den røde løperen. Hun sjokkerte med lårhøye støvletter og bukseseler som så vidt dekket til brystene.
Produsentene av prisutdelingen hadde gitt Miley helt frie tøyler, men samtidig var de forberedt på skandaler. De la på en tidsforsinkelse på livesendingen, i tilfelle ting måtte sensureres.

Det var ikke bare Miley som stilte lettkledd på den røde løperen. I en kort gullkjole viste Britney Spears (33) frem både lår, mage og utringning.

Taylor Swift (25) var nominert til flest priser under årets VMA. Hennes musikkvideo «Bad Blood», hvor hun har fått med seg et stjernelag av musikervenner, var nominert til syv priser, blant annet «Årets video».
Hun hadde med seg alle stjernene fra «Bad Blood»-videoen på den røde løperen, blant annet Selena Gomez og Cara Delevingne.
TV 2 på rød løper
TV 2 var til stede på den røde løperen. Charlamagne Tha God, som leder kveldens rød løper-show på MTV VMA, viste frem årets pris til TV 2s reporter.

– Not in one million years I had imagined it, it just fell into my lap! A friend began to photograph me, and suddenly there were pictures of me published internationally. It is great fun to work as a model. I love what I do – it’s my passion, but it’s hard work with training and keeping fit. Still, it pays off in the long run!
