Klart for skandinavisk storfilm – Klar Tale

– It’s so cool that Scandinavia dare to invest in films in the genre fantasy, says Jakob Oftebro.

The Norwegian stjerna has a starring role in “Chamber’s daughter “. The Danish and Norwegian blockbuster premieres in theaters Friday.

The film is about Dina. She lives in a small village with his mother, who is a “chamber”. Dina has inherited his mother’s supernatural abilities. She can see everything people are embarrassed just by looking them in the eye. Therefore do not like people her. 12 year old Rebecca Emilie Sattrup plays Dina. Maria Bonnevie plays Dina mother.

The film features knights, dragon’s blood and medieval. Much of the filming took place in the Czech Republic.

– I’m very excited about how it will go with the film, says Oftebro. He plays Nicodemus. He is accused of having killed his family. Then Dina and her mother’s supernatural abilities important.

The genre fantasy have become popular worldwide in recent years. The films are often based on books. Author JK Rowling wrote the books of “Harry Potter.” In the 1950s, wrote the author J.R.R. Tolkien books about the “Lord of the Rings.”

Now showing pouring service HBO the fifth season of the TV series “Game of Thrones.” There is even a great fantasy success, made from the books of author George RR Martin.

The battle between good and evil is essential in fantasy. The theme of “Ashamed’s daughter” is the choice between right and wrong. And there to be ashamed of anything.

– Shame is a great hot topic right now. We have several things to be ashamed of. Such as the environment and how we treat refugees, says Oftebro.

The film is based on the book of the same name. It is written by author Lene Kaaberbøl. The book has been translated into Norwegian and is part of the training for Norwegian students in junior high school.

– We are too poor to see Norwegian film in Norway. But now creates so much good film. So I hope it changes, says Oftebro.

According to the plan shall be made two films of the “Chamber’s daughter.”
