Kensington Palace reports just after 12 o’clock on Saturday that Duchess Kate has got a daughter. The baby was born clock 09.34 Norwegian time, Saturday morning.

Kate went from Kensington Palace in car, along with her husband Prince William, early Saturday morning and arrived at the hospital in time 07.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am.

The little girl weighs 3764 grams. Both mother and daughter are doing well, according to Kensington Palace.

Name Speculation
In a twitter message around the clock 08 Saturday morning it was confirmed that the Duchess was taken to hospital, and it is said that the birth was just beginning.
– She has enough then been extended in the birth process, and this has gone quite as intended, says Totland.
Prince William and Duchess Kate have said they did not know if it was a boy or girl.
Grandfather Prince Charles, has during pregnancy said he hopes it will be a girl this time.

Although the fuss is less than two years ago, fans of the royal family for several weeks already gathered outside the hospital, with various banners and flags.
The couple married on 29 April 2011 and celebrated a few days ago its four year anniversary.
