(BA.no) Have an exhibitionist in the stomach, so now is your chance. BIT Teatergarasjen searching for two dozen naked bodies of a historic performance at the end of September.
The performance is inspired by the American photographer Spencer Tunick who has got Thousands to take off their clothes at the Sydney Opera House, or the naked for the European Football Championship.
The first time charges he bare record.
– We need them pretty fast. We do not live in New York, where thousands set up to nude photography when Spencer Tunick asks for it, says communications manager for BIT Teatergarasjen Andreas Langenes to Bergen newspaper.
For it is just the photographs of Tunick as dance performance inspired by. The photographer has traveled far and wide around the world and photographed thousands of naked bodies in various locations. One of the locations was the Vigeland Park in Oslo. It is choreographer Mia Habib who stands for the play, which will be premiered in Oslo before going to Bergen on 25 and 26 September.
Need naked
– We are actually looking for more people who want to set naked on stage two performances. The most urgent is the show “A song to …” which is about the photographs of Spencer Tunick. But we also need 15 extras for a performance afterward, says producer and curator for BIT Teatergarasjen Karoline Skuseth to BA.
Right now, nine expressed their interest to act undressed on stage.

– You never know how many you need about before the premiere is imminent, says Langenes.
Adults, young people, high and low are welcome to ask his body to artistic disposal.
– People of all ages are welcome. It is not so easy to get hold of people, so we hope that someone will be involved in such a historic production like this, says Langenes.
They have contacted the environments that may have groups more benign to the display of nudity than others.
– We have contacted performance groups and naturistgrupper, but it’s pretty small environment, and we need people fast.
Requires little
Skuseth says that it does not require very much of them as sets.
– There is talk about being extras. They will run and walk across the stage, says Karoline Skuseth.
Those who volunteer must adjust to being both naked and inaccessible for the rest of the world a few hours at night in four days.
– This is a big production. It is rare that we have had so many people on stage, says responsible for communication.
The play will totally hold 48 naked people on stage. In a Nordic context, this is not done before.
– The play is as much about the individual as group. This is going to be an extremely strong piece with a very visual expression, says Skuseth.
World premiere in Oslo
A few days before the play set up in Bergen, will have its world premiere at Dance House in Oslo. The piece is then up in Studio Bergen.
Spencer Tunick is famous for its huge group shots of naked people. The photographer specializes in integrating nudity around in public places. In addition, the piece to contain elements of motion sport Parkour, which is all about getting from A to B in the most efficient manner.
With 18 professional dancers and a large group of extras show Mia Habib forward protest potential, the monumental and the frail human body.
