The new Norwegian bilfilmen had one of the biggest opening weekends in modern Norwegian cinema history and is set to be a huge success.
Included previews, had “borning” according filmweb.no 136,451 visits during the opening weekend.
It is expected that the numbers will increase further, as cinema managers across the country will report their number of visitors throughout the day. Already, however, this is the best opening weekend for any film so far this year and it is one of Norwegian films best openings ever.
None of the American “Fast and Furious” films have had a better start than their Norwegian “little brother”.
In isolation, however, children’s film “Doctor Proctor’s fart powder,” based on a book by Jo Nesbø, who tops the list of best opening weekend, with 92,838 tickets sold, compared to just under 75,000 tickets sold at the “borning” weekend.
GREAT SATISFACTION: Both Jenny Skavlan and Anders Christiansen Baasmo told VG that they are very satisfied with the result, after an arduous recording with a lot of speed and creepy stunt.

The film, which is regarded as the first Norwegian bilfilmen since” Flåklypa Grand Prix “, has big names like Anders Baasmo Christiansen, Jenny Skavlan, Sven Nordin and Otto Jespersen in the cast.
