Feeling pressure
Tuesday morning met artists reporters after his first night at Vestre Kjærnes farm.
– I slept so well, says Lene Nystrom Moss Avis.
– But two o’clock I woke up in a panic, so there is probably some nerves there, although I feel that they are under control, she said.
OnklP or Per Tøien, that is his real name, marks nerves.
– I feel pressured. You want the deliver, he says.
Although the artists had only been together on the farm in barely a day when the press did come, it was good chemistry between them.
– There is a wonderful mix of people and we feel already homogeneous. I’m really looking forward to the coming week, although I know there are little sleep, says Inger Lise Rypdal, who is excited about which of her songs the other artists will interpret.
- I feel almost a little sorry for them, there’s so much to choose of. But I both think and hope that I will be surprised, she says.
Boasts Valer
All artists brag Western Kjærnes farm and Valer, despite the fact that some of them did not think they would ever arrive.
– At one point I thought, “Where the hell are we?” And “Where are we going?”, This was insanely far away! But it is amazing out here, so quiet and peaceful and incredibly beautiful, says Lene Nystrom.
Also resident assistants Berit and Per Kjærnes get praised by Nystrom:
– They are the most open, hospitable people I have met. Imagine, they move out of the house and the yard and into a cabin without power for us to be here, she said.
The couple themselves were not at the farm Tuesday morning.
