Malik has already released their first single as a solo artist.
The remaining band members says that there have been tough after Malik left the band, according to the Independent.

Liam Payne says that in recent days has been the toughest they have experienced since One Direction was formed four years ago.
– We are crushed after Zayn left the band, but after a couple of the occurrence as a band with four members, we feel confident and we will continue stronger than ever, says Payne told The Sun.
