This year’s Idol winner must work hard if he wants to succeed, according to former Idols.
SEOGHØR.NO: Friday evening was Ingvar Olsen (24) named this year’s winner of Idol on TV 2. The 24 year old won a recording contract with Sony Music and a management agreement with Eccentric Music.

Gets colleagues
Tone Damli (26) have been well acquainted with Ingvar in his job as Idol judge the past half year. She beamed at the Idol finale with his new welding, and when it became clear that Ingvar won, she was among the first to congratulate him.
Tone started his artistic career as a participant in Idol in 2006. She knows what it takes to survive as an artist after the competition, and has several good advice to Ingvar.
– I think he’s going to get along very well. Much is up to himself. It is important to seize all opportunities that present themselves now in the wake of Idol and work forward from there, advises Tone.
She looks forward to sharing David Eriksen Ingvar.
– It is very nice! Now he is my colleague and brother in Eccentric Music, smiling 26-year-old.
– Important to fuss
Artist Astrid Smeplass (17) ended in fifth place in last year’s Idol, but has now great success with the single “2AM”. Hard work is the only thing that isnt in the music industry, according to 17-year-old.
– Ingvar must push on and work hard! He must seize every chance that presents itself and nag, nag, nag until he gets what he wants. That’s what works, recommends Astrid.
Last year’s winner
Last year it was Siri Vølstad Jensen (18) was victorious in Idol, as the youngest Norwegian winner ever. She released her first album “Coming Home” in May.
She advises Ingvar to let Idol victory sink in, before commencing new projects.
– It is important not to feel pressured to come up with new music too fast. It’s nice to have pressure of expectation, it makes you a little more stringent, but it is important not to rush things. Although I felt the pressure, but it had no negative impact on me.I felt like I had plenty of time on me, telling 18-year-old.
