SEOGHØR.NO: Actor David Ryall – best known for his role as Elphias Doge in the last two Harry Potter films – is dead according to the BBC.
He was 79 years old and leaves behind a son and two daughters.
David played in numerous TV series and movies, including “Inspector Morse” and “The Elephant Man.”
Ryall was well known as a lyricist, and wrote the screenplay for the BBC series “Sherlock.”
– The wonderful David Ryall left us on Christmas Day. A skilled, brilliant and great actor that I was proud to have as a friend, writes “Sherlock” -kollega Mark Gatiss on his Twitter page.
– I am so sorry that he’s gone. He was a wonderful actor and colleague, says actor Clive Morrison said.
