Norwegian comedy with Morten Ramm, Edward Schultheiss, Henriette Steenstrup, Jon Øigarden etc. 1 h. 22 min. Age limit: 11 years Director and screenwriter: Ole Endresen
There is little groundbreaking of trotting comedy “Raiders of Berlusconi.” This is Norwegian humor conveyed by the Norwegian humorists placed in a Norwegian setting. Norwegians can of course accept us about it.
The question is whether the British seem Ole Endresen unofficial “King Curling” -oppfølger is something to neigh off. For the then – well this is picked BFI London Film Festival – a remarkable honor to give the film.
while “Raiders of Berlusconi” press many buttons could correct the pressure on many more, and it could be pressed harder. And maybe it should have tried to muster some buttons not American and British film pressed into pieces long ago. Also, do not remark, “I love what you’ve done with the place” just as stylish in Norwegian.
What happens in brief is the trot coachman Bjarte Lem, played by Edward Schultheiss, suddenly owe some Finnish bullies. To meet the challenges of the he plans to fix a race during the Oslo Grand Prix, but everything is obviously not according to plan and then balls it up with more or less life-threatening challenges.
Morten Ramm plays ØKOKRIM apprentice Svenn that along with its parent is set to investigate Bjarte Lems unsuccessful fixing. Ramm plays like most others just a version of himself – as we all naturally have seen several times before.
Certainly Ramm nerd version with Jon Øigarden hasty version (always hasty, perhaps?) And Bjorn Fløberget trot snob version of production most fun.
The film is rounded unfortunately at a time where you still eagerly awaiting the grand finale – an abrupt end to a half-black, half-hearted comedy that neither ØKOKRIM or trot environment will rejoice.
Maybe some moviegoers.
