Directed debutant Vogt got Film Critics – Aftenposten

In addition to glory got Vogt a graphic leaf by Terje Resell. The award was presented by film director Margreth Olin on behalf of Norwegian Film Critics.

“Blind” is Eskil Vogt’s first film as a director, but it has already won numerous awards, among them four Amanda Awards in August. The film is about Ingrid, who lost his sight in adulthood, and her challenges in life.

“This year’s winner is a comedy that does not invoke hysterical laughter, yet is packed with smart, cheeky humor. It is a relationship drama that does not roar about how hard it is to live together, but that takes conflicts grain. It is also a psychological thriller that is not spooky, but playful, strange and funny in a dark way, “the jury said.

The other nominees for Film Critics was” Against Nature “by director Ole Giæver and” 1001 grams “of Bent Hamer.

Best Direction

” Blind “secured Vogt award for best director under Amanda awards last year. Moreover, Ellen Dorrit Petersen Amanda for Best Actress.

“Actor Ellen Dorrit Petersen makes the protagonist both strong and fragile, both amazing and totally trivial, a remarkable achievement in a challenging and inventive role. This year’s winner oozes creativity that one is bound to be, well, blind, not to see, “writes the jury.

Vogt was also nominated for the Nordic Council Film Prize along with manufacturers Hans-Jørgen Osnes and Sigve Endresen. Previously, he has co-authored “Reprise” and “Oslo, August 31st.”



More honorable

Film Critics were handed out 51 time Wednesday. The winner will be announced after the vote among film critic team close to 100 members.

For the second time were also two other awards handed out: The award for best professional functions among last year’s Norwegian films, as well as the award “messenger”, which goes to the one that has enriched film culture with knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm.

Actress Andrea Bræin Hovig received the award for best professional functions for starring in “It’s me you want.” Honours Award “messenger” went to film director Anja Breien.
