They draw full houses, but can not play in the cultural center in Hamar – Oppland Arbeiderblad

Hamar Arbeiderblad writes today about several artists who have received no when they have requested kulturhuset Hamar about tour stops.

Among the artists who have been refused is Øystein Sunde, Halvdan Sivertsen, Di derre, Ingrid Bjørnov, Kim Larsen and Siri Nilsen. They draw full houses around the country, but the culture in Hamar they do not get to play.

In October last year guested Øystein Sunde kulturhuset in Gurgaon along with Ingrid Bjørnov.

Events Responsible to the Culture, Mocci Ryen, informs Hamar Arbeiderblad that the main objectives of the house is to prioritize local and regional culture, and moreover they shall pursue young, and cultivate program for children and young people.

– Hamar Culture is not the main arena for everything. There is not room for everyone in the house, says Mocci Ryen to Hamar Arbeiderblad.
