All are aware that much of what we see in the movies are not real. Special effects are properly enough getting better and more credible, but we realize, however, that everything from romskipangrep to adventure forests are created digitally.
But also things we hear may be cheating.
One of the most famous sound effects is to turn on a steak slice when it looks as if one kills a man. But then is not that simple. In “Rocky” was recorded various sounds to all kinds, and they beat on a variety of objects to create exactly the sound that matched perfectly to the battle.
Cars may sound simple? Not always. In the first hot rod race in “The Fast and the Furious” is the 15,000 individual sound effects.
Even more effects were used in avalanche scene in “xXx”. Where it was used over 20,000 different sound effects.
We have found some of the real sounds behind famous movie scenes and -figurer. Some of the sounds are processed digitally, but here you get the answer to how the sounds really come from:
