Both busted, but Carmina was among the four who received the most votes in the fifth semi-final.

Judge Tone Damli declared that “I go home and cry if Carmina does not go on to the finals.”

Now Stine Jakobsen (19) from Senja withdrawn from the final broadcast starting Friday.

 - We think obviously it’s incredible shame to lose Stine, she’s a great girl with a great talent as it has been a pleasure to deal with! But we also understand that life is more than “Idol,” and think it’s mature of her to make that decision now before we proceed with the final rounds, says TV2 press officer for ‘Idol’, Bjarne Laastad on the channel’s website.

Both Christiane and Carmine received much praise from the judges. Christiane has not been much on display ahead of the semi final, but Fergie has shown enthusiasm during the competition.

 - Jesus, you can sing, he told Christiane.

Carmina garnered much praise, especially from Tone Damli.

 - You are my favorite in this year’s idol. I have enjoyed so long for you to sing. And I’ve been so scared and nervous that you should not do it, also manages it. I almost begin to cry, said very touched Tone Damli Carmina.

It is still unclear what is happening, but the final rounds starting with the live broadcast Friday.

 - We will start the final rounds on Friday with ten finalists anyway. Who takes over Stine space becomes clear in a short time, say Laastad TV2′s website.
