AC / DC release their music on flow services – NRK

Starting with today being the music of the band available in several of the largest flow services, writes New York Times on Tuesday.

All the band’s album is now on Spotify, Tidal and will also be on Apple Music which, according to The Verge launched at 17.00 today.

AC / DC has waited a long time to make their music available for the digital age. First in 2012 could fans buy the band’s music on iTunes.

AC / DC is not the only digital nølerne in the music world. Rock colleagues in Metallica waited until 2012 to let their music streamed on Spotify, while Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd did the same the following year.

The rockers have sold over 200 million albums worldwide, making it among the all-time bestselling groups. Album “Back in Black,” which includes “You Shook Me All Night Long” is the all-time fifth most albums sold.

The band released the album “Rock or Bust” last fall, but album release was partly overshadowed by drummer Phil Rudds arrest in New Zealand.
