The single “What Would You Do” was posted on Browns SoundCloud account Thursday morning.
Tuesday night, Brown was arrested by police on suspicion of threatening a woman with a gun in his home in Los Angeles.
According to People magazine shall artist having shared a video of himself a few hours before he released the new single, which he said he would turn the other cheek and continue to make music. Brown was Wednesday discharged from bail, and has not been formally charged, but a hearing is scheduled on September 20.

The last album from the artist, “Royalty” , was published last year.
