Review: Justin Bieber at Telenor Arena – the Newspaper.en

CONCERT: It was not so good the last time Justin Bieber visited Norway, and there was a certain tension in the air before he went on stage in the day.

If he feels people look at him as a sirkushest more as a serious artist so you can understand why.

Excitement, because we have experienced that the star, which recently stormed off the stage can be unpredictable. And because he can seem a little tired of the job. Instagram account is deleted, snapchatten is broke, he canceled all seansene where he would meet the fans before the concerts. Throughout his latest disc, “Purpose”, is also permeated by the same themes. The feeling of living in a movie, that people look at him as a character, that he is just a pawn in popmaskineriet.

at the same time continues star Bieber only to increase in strength. At the time of writing, he has two of the top three spots on the pop charts in both Norway and the united Kingdom. And it’s not even songs he had on “Purpose”, as also has been shown to be full of hitlisteslitere.

So, how to meet this alleged the ambivalence this stadionturneen? He will be grumpy, tired, unmotivated? Reviewers in other places in the world have claimed this, but to demand that an artist should sprudle just because, is about as constructive as that one should pray Edvard Munch, smile more.

the Audience was at least ready. The bar is apparently minimal with fl ag from the previous visit, and was an obedient mass characterized by thick layers of foundation, merge and filters. It was the most sober and obedient gang I have observed in concert some time. And yes, I have also been on the barnekonserter. With their pariserfletter marched they obedient to the arena, while the anxious guards and police commanded them to march four in width” and “keep the pace in the bend!”.

they Got value for money?

the Answer is yes.

Or the very first they got the content marketing, Justin Bieber in a Calvin Klein commercial on the big screen. But it is clear, something is going to man the live of.

Then started it. With “Mark My Words” and Bieber hanging in a glassboks, separated from us as the superstjerna he is. He scribbled on the walls, and dangled in front of the other greats, David statue, before he the sky were falling around us. Or popped up off the floor. It was in the whole lot of up – and descent.

So began the work. “Where are U Know” and “Get Used to It” were two scenefester. There were multiple levels on the stage, a very and sprettent dansecrew, a vibrant backdrop and the people hovering under the ceiling and a band that played on each of his flank. There was so much to see, here is the way to a concert film you actually need.

Then he turned her back to the audience, the cage descended on him again and he performed “I’ll Show You”, which also contains the telling lines’Don’t forget that I’m human/Don’t forget that I’m real”. And to emphasize this he took a break after four songs, while we were entertained by a dancer and got to see a video where genserkledd Bieber was befølt by a crowd of women in lingerie and a face mask.

It gave a ever so little anti-climatic. But fortunately he came back (we may never know).

the Reaction of the crowd when the “Boyfriend” was rolled out, shows that the Biebers kjernepublikum probably keeps the earliest plates closest to the chest. Still. Bieberskriket is no myth. It feels still as if something bleeds, and it runs inside your ear canals mine.

followed by another a switching between tempo and mood. A purple plysjsofa appeared from nowhere, just as seamless and magical as anything else that was moving up and down on the stage during the show.

Justin Bieber sat down with kilten and Notorious B. I. G.-shirt say, and took, somewhat surprisingly, hit the “Cold Water” on the acoustic guitar. Musical is the original absolute to overtrekke. Major Lazer is no such thing as being better of being taken acoustic.

Nachspielgitarister and the Idol finalists all over the world will probably use the next few years to disprove me here, but yes. Most likely, it was too complicated to practice in a whole act to the track, a fresh banger it had been fun to put in a different costume.

In the couch also came “Love Yourself” which suited the format much better, and an interesting observation: The more dimmed Bieber was, the more responsive the audience. It is also very difficult to see The Notorious B. I. G. take a look over gitarhalsen. Where had the rapper certainly not thought he would be, this septemberdagen in Bærum.

Justin released finally guitar (which continued to strum, thanks to the band that no one noticed), but here the midway was set unfortunately a touch of transportetappe. “No Sense” and “Hold Tight”, which is mostly the house Bieber is alone on the stage, showed how tråkigt it could have been without that he got the help of the dancers, effects and all sorts of dataeffekter.

But there was salt on it again. To the degrees. The greatest hitsa were clumped together to the end, and did the last part of great entertainment. In the “Children” were there, possibly Norwegian, the children on stage as they gave habile dancers good competition. “As Long As You Love Me” and “Baby” had been becoming updated and got it to explode, as expected.

Bieber seemed also not very matlei. And he did that which was going to. He followed the dancers, and the priority is always to give the high five, the fence with the fingers or dance in front to keep the microphone in the credible position. In very many cases was not the microphone one time near of the face when one would think it was natural to give the impression of singing. For the entertainment, it did not so much, Bieber did very much else. He played trommesolo, took a double somersault on the trampoline, played guitar and swing dancers around the arm.

If he feels people look at him as a sirkushest more as a serious artist so you can understand why.

only he did not do was to say something. To us.

At one point took Justin Bieber a long sip of vannflaska say, and then dried thoroughly with a towel, screwed the cap on and looked at us. Should he say something now, about the last time? But no. Instead he said a few rehearsed lines that introduced the “Company”, a song, incidentally, authored by the Drøbak-man and russelåtprodusent Andreas Schüller (it could be you also, mentioned Justin!). It is also a banger that lifted many notches on the stage.

MISSED the TALK: Dagbladet reviewer missed some well-chosen words from Bieber to the crowd during the concert in the Telenor Arena. Photo: Nina Hansen / Dagbladet Show more

He could with advantage have hired a screenwriter who could deliver some custom made lines to each concert. Not just because we the audience would like to be seen, but it could also have been strategically smart. Without something from the artist we can see this entire show on Youtube. It is, after all, performed 68 times before, with virtually identical setliste.

But he didn’t say much in the evening either. And we know still not on the Justin the credible artist that also happens to be the was tenåringsidol, the musician with such eclectic taste, which he displays by going with B. I. G. and Marilyn Manson on his chest. Or if he is a reason popgutt that floats on fan preferences infatuation and skilled manufacturers, and that just seems the words are cool, that he likes the words “Notorious” “B. I. G.”.

But as long as he has two of three of the top spots on the charts. As long as he sells out the stadium all over the world, as long as he makes songs that get the children to scream and kritkere to smile. As long as he gives konsertgjengerne value for the money, he needs not answer.

We were not better acquainted with Justin today. We wonder still.

That is why we continue to follow with.
