Glis Late Lady Gaga concert – VG

It is far from fully on tonight’s Lady Gaga concert at the Telenor Arena.

Lady GaGa

(Album) The Fame Monster – Deluxe Version

The sports hall at Fornebu in Bærum take regularly receive large stars that fill the hall to its maximum capacity of 23,000.

Last Lady Gaga performed in Norway, she drew around 11,000 in the same arena.

Tonight she has considerably fewer “little monsters” in front of the stage – numbers vary, but according to VG’s sources, it is Talk about an audience of approximately 7,000.

There is a sharp contrast to 2010 when she sold out two fully stocked Oslo Spektrum – approximately 16,000 tickets – and apparently could have sold more.

VG reviewer on site, Morten Ståle Nilsen, consider that an estimated 7,000 in the evening is more than generous.

– Salen is divided in two by a curtain, for it not to look as gæærnt, but is still sparse. Ytterflankene on the stage floor is deserted, the crowd clinging close to the big stage tongue. Scene Rigged require as much space as the audience base, he said.

Gaga’s latest album reached fourth place on the VG-lista, unlike its predecessor, “Born This Way”, which went right to the top.

The last, “Artpop” was out of the Top 40 after 16 weeks. By comparison, the debut album “The Fame” 35 weeks on the list, while the subsequent EP “The Fame Monster” was built in 45 weeks.

Marketing director at the record company Universal’s Norwegian branch, Gjermund Moastuen, want not comment on the audience’s Telenor Arena. He admits, however, that “Artpop” have not done so well as Gaga’s company had hoped for.

– “Artpop” has almost gone platinum, but it was not as strong songs as their predecessors, neither radio or single terms. Both “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster” was extraordinary phenomena, but based on sales figures, she is still an audience believe Moastuen.

Concert organizer Live Nation would not comment on today’s sales figures.
