Colin Firth admits he had age difference of 29 years in mind, when he met Emma Stone for the first time.
SEOGHØR.NO: Hollywood stars Colin Firth (54) and Emma Stone (25) has attracted attention in his new film “Magic in the Moonlight.”
The reason is that the player boyfriends, even if it’s full 29-year age difference between them.
the newspaper Independent admits Firth that he was afraid to look old out next to his young colleague, which among other things is known for her role as Gwen Stacy in “The Amazing Spider-Man.”
– When I found out who I was going to play with, I thought that I would see old and tired next to Emma Stone
– I did not look forward to being the one who got badly out of the comparison. But when we started filming, there were other things that were important.
In the movie – which is directed by Woody Allen – Firth plays British Stanley, alias magician Wei Ling Soo, who is brought in to expose the alleged medium and clairvoyant Sophie (Emma Stone).
More moviegoers have pointed out that the mean ratio appears inappropriate.
The age difference, however, sat in the shade of a truly pair.
Earlier in September showed “Scarface” star Steven Bauer presented his 39 years younger girlfriend for the first time – 18-year-old Lyda Loudon.
Emma Stone tells the Independent that she thinks the reason that some Americans react to her film compared to Colin Firth, also may be due to lack of work opportunities for female actors.
– There is a big focus in Hollywood that women over a certain age have a problem with getting roles, no matter how old they are.
Woody Allen has not yet commented on why he chose two actors with such a large difference in the film.
