Bettan and daughters say goodbye to the man in her life – Dagbladet.no

ULLERN (Dagbladet): Elisabeth “Bettan” Andreassen’s husband, Tor Andreassen, died suddenly of a heart attack on Monday 13 June.

Today, Tuesday June 21, he was buried in Ullern Church.

– Party Animal

the church was packed by people from Celebrity Norway that would provide Tor Andreassen a last greeting, and not least show his support for Elisabeth “Bettan” Andreassen and daughters Anna (21) and Nora (19).

Wenche Myhre, Ole Paus, Alexander Rybak, Brit Elisabeth Haagensli and Rolf Løvland were just some of the couple’s friends who showed up.

When the church bells faded away was the church space filled with acoustic blues tones from the guitar and singing from Amund Maarud. He played “Do I know you?”.

– We should have been at a party with the party animal Tor. This is no farewell concert for Tor. He will always be with Elisabeth Andreassen concerts to come. Here he will be with her daughters, Anna and Nora, said minister Paul Nome in the church.

Strong speeches

Elisabeth Andreassen and daughters came with strong words in church. “Bettan ‘was marked when she told about her husband.

– You were the world’s best husband. You were the best friend. Had he seen how many people were here now, he had been happy. We will take care of each other in his spirit. Every day with you has been fantastic. We had respect for each other, she said.

– Now sleeps Tor for real. I can not nudge him. I can not wake him, she said in church.

Dattera Nora (19) said that his father has always been there for her.

– In 19 years I’ve been sitting on your lap. The serenity I got with you, I found nowhere else. You’re gone now, and it’s not going to understand. It hurts the whole body, she said to the participants.

Anna (21) told that his father was “always going to be the man in my life.”

Last greeting

Outside the church had more many good words to say about Tor Andreassen.

– He was a kind and good man who always stood up for the family. He leaves behind a great loss. Now we need to take care of Elizabeth, said Wenche Myhre Dagbladet.

– I remember him as a wise and good man, said Ole Paus, who arrived church with his guitar. He will play “Abide with Me” during the funeral.

Ole Edvard Antonsen arrived with his wife Tove and trumpet. He will be playing during the ceremony.

He will remember Andreassen for his humor.

– I mines him as an incredibly humorous and playful guy, he says.

Bjarte Hjelmeland told Dagbladet that he will remember his friend as a gentleman.

– We got to know through “Bettan.” He was incredibly kind to me and lent the berths in the cabin, says Hjelmeland.

Charming

We who worked in the media of music, entertainment and of course Eurovision have not been able to avoid meeting and be charmed by Bettans husband.

Tor came into the life of the known artist like 40-year-old. That he was the rock in her life, has not been difficult to see.

“Bettan” and Tor was somehow the image of a successful marriage partly lived in the spotlight.

A mooring buoy

It was “Bettan” and eventually daughters who calmed down and made Tor to the mooring buoy he was until last week. “Bettan” traveled the lot, Tor had run away. Urban and nightlife tempted no more 40 year old more.

“Tor has been au pair” shall a slightly miffed friend and party scene said about him when Tor hit “Bettan.”

My first encounter with Tor, it must have been in 1994 in Dublin – the year they were married. Bettan and Jan Werner would proffer “Duet” in the European ESC final. NRK delegation leaders Trond Myhre and Trond Lie “looked after” the young Jan Werner, while Tor buzzed smiling around Bettan.

On stage this summer

In the entertainment industry say one “The show must go on” – whatever.

Bettan goes a tough summer in the face, but has chosen to let the summer show “Let it swinge! – With a little help from my friends “go as planned, with the premiere on Thursday 30 June Oseberg Culture in Tønsberg.

3. August, she participates in TV 2′s “singing at the border.”

It’s not often press covers the funeral of the spouse of a celebrity. Tor was never any celebrity, but he was there Bettan was – great, steady and smiling. Always.
