The man who killed “The Voice” star identified – Bergens Tidende

Orlando: Police have identified the man who shot and killed the American singer Christina Grimmie (22) during an autograph signing in Florida.

Grimmie, who broke through in the US talent show “the Voice”, was taken to hospital after the attack, where she later died of his injuries, reports ABC News.

The offender, who police said went straight to Grimmie and fired shots at her, then shot himself and died.

The offender was 27 years old Kevin James Loibl from Florida, police said in Orlando. He had with him two guns and a hunting knife.



Chaos in the premises

The attack took place after a concert in Orlando in the state of Florida Friday night US time. According to witnesses at the site erupted panic after Loibl fired shots inside the concert venue.

Christina Grimmie participated in “The Voice” in 2014, where she finished third.
