the film, which Greibrokk also wrote the script together with Hilde Susan Jægtnes, takes on a fundamental question in life; Why is it so hard to love another human being?

– I have probably not found any answers, but it was what I wanted to find out with this film, says Greibrokk to NRK, where she was today’s guest on the evening news.

Now that the film is finally ready for the big screen, she is more proud than nervous about how it will be received by the public.

– I will not say I’m not nervous, but tonight I feel proud and will celebrate with those who have helped to make the film, she says.

Four stern

“All the beautiful” is a love story about David and Sarah and their 30 year history as a couple. From storm crush 20s to the more difficult times later in the relationship.

Through four acts the audience an insight into their lives when they are 23, 33, 43 and 53 years old.

Greibrokk she says in this way wanted to convey how relationships can change over time.

– I think that when you live in a relationship for a long time, so the balance could shift. The relationship is always moving. One would certainly wish that it was bastant, that was always where it is good to be, but my experience is that it moves and I think that makes it very challenging for many.

eight actors

There are eight different actors portraying David and Sarah.

Sarah and David played Isabel Beth Toming and Preben Hodneland as 23-year-olds, Marte Germaine Christensen Emil Johnsen as 33-year-olds, Andrea Bræin Hovig and Kristoffer Joner as 43-year-olds and Ann Elenora Jorgensen and Magnus Krepper as 53 year olds.

When asked how Greibrokk managed with the such familiar names, so the answer was just that she’s fresh.

– My experience is that actors love their jobs and want to work. I gave them the script and they were lit. Kristoffer Joner said ungfolk is extra fun because you never know how they kick. That working with someone who comes straight out of film school is exciting, she says.

“All the beautiful” has thus sneak preview Wednesday evening and theatrical release Friday.
