TV2 and Altibox extend negotiation deadline – Adresseavisen

After it was breach between the parties on Sunday evening, was in touch resumed Monday. During the evening Monday, the TV 2 and Altibox continued negotiations.

– It is challenging negotiations, but the dialogue is constructive and we have therefore agreed to negotiate further in the days to come, says Kjetil Nilsen, director of distribution and technology in TV 2.

– the parties have agreed to continue talks, confirms communications consultant Lars Rasdal Altibox said. He refers to TV2 for further information.

Communication Manager Jan-Petter Dahl in TV2 told NTB that the parties meet again one of the next few days, but that it is not set any deadline to reach agreement .

– I would not comment on details of the negotiations. Now we want to sit down and negotiate in peace and tranquility in the days to come. The aim is to reach an agreement for the benefit of viewers, says Dahl.

All Altibox customers were in danger of losing all of the TV 2 channels from Monday night. The agreement between TV2 and Altibox expired June 1, but the parties postponed the deadline to June 20 to allow more time to negotiate.
