The entire Top Gear trio finished the program – Bergens Tidende

On Friday morning it was announced that James May ending in solidarity with Jeremy Clarkson, who recently was fired by the BBC.

Now follows therefore Hammond for, writes The Guardian, adding that the latter probably will work with other programs for the BBC.



– We must be three

– There must be three of us. One can not just insert a surrogate Jeremy and expect it will continue, said May the newspaper Friday.

The manufacturer of the program, Andy Wilman, also resigned. Wilman and the three presenters were all observed at Clarksons home Thursday.

Jeremy Clarkson was suspended on March 10 after he allegedly struck a manufacturer during an argument about missing meals on the hotel where they lived while they were recording North Yorkshire.

Then he spoke disparagingly of BBC bosses who suspended him and referred to them partly as “those damn bastards.”

In late March he was fired from Top Gear, the world’s most watched TV program with about 350 million viewers worldwide. Now must therefore BBC find a brand new management of the program before next season.
