But even if the movie about the maid who wins the prince and half the kingdom is known for most, reveals one of leading roles that reality was not quite as it appears on TV.
Was Pregnant
Daniela Hlavácová (69) – who plays Cinderella stepsister in film from 1973 – has in an interview with the Czech journalist Jana Podskalska revealed that she was pregnant during filming and had to hide under the belly big dresses.
– I forget not recording, even if it happened 30 years ago, because I was pregnant then. My daughter is 30 years now, she said in 2003.
The colleagues on the film set must have been very considerate towards Daniela growing belly.
Resident platform
They made partly to build a small platform to her when they were playing a scene in cold water, after the sled her overturned.
– I stood 15 cm above the water. Everyone was afraid that something would happen to me or the baby, she says.
After recording has Daniela worked several years at an art school in Prague in the home country the Czech Republic.
