SEOGHØR.NO: There was nothing to say on the mood, when pop star Elton John (67) Sunday married his sweetheart of nine years, David Furnish (52) .
The two had their sons Zachary (3) and Elijah (23 months.).
Zachary took according to the Daily Mail a picture of his little brother who clung to Elton Johns legs during the ceremony.
David and Elton – who partnered for exactly six years ago, but have not been able to marry before it was allowed in the UK in March – did not hide that they looked forward to the big day .
– The legal bit is done. Now everything is ready for the ceremony, wrote Elton under a picture of himself and his girlfriend before the ceremony Sunday.
The wedding took place on day nine years after Elton and David were together.
Victoria and David Beckham and their three children Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz were among celebrity friends who were present during the ceremony.
There was also “Little Britain” -komikeren David Walliams, Take That star Gary Barlow, pop star Ed Sheeran and model Elizabeth Hurley.
Several of the guests have also posted pictures from the party on their Instagram pages.
Guests were partly served steak and pie with onions, parsnips and potatoes . For dessert they had hot chocolate pudding and ice cream.
Elton John and David Furnish are known for their lavish parties.
The champagne that was served was however moderate to them to be according to the Daily Mail.

– Elton and David have planned it for several months. They decided early on to have a modest celebration, a source said earlier this year to The Sun.
