Anne Rimmen finished in NRK – go to TVNorge – VG

Presenter Anne Rimmen (35) becomes a part of discovery’s OLYMPIC team.

It confirms the programme director, Eivind Landsverk in the Discovery towards the VG. The media house has secured the rights for the OLYMPICS for the next eight years.

Rimmen goes back to its old channel. She was a news anchor for the channel earlier.

For almost three years since the said Rimmen up their permanent job in the BBC, but continued to work for the station on the frilansbasis. Now the shifts she thus channel.

In a statement via TVNorge says Rimmen that she is looking forward to embark on the new job.

According to Eivind Landsverk is Rimmen intended a central role in the channel’s OLYMPIC commitment, and a role in a large underholdningssatsning already to spring.

– Anne is one of the very best of the presenters we have in Norway. She is superb at live events, and have a lot of experience to contribute into the sportsredaksjonen as Jan-Erik Aalbu now is in the process of building. But she is also intended for an important role in a new underholdningskonsept that comes on TVNorge in spring. I can’t say too much more about it currently, but it is something I really believe in, ” says Landsverk.

Difficult choice

Anne Rimmen says to VG that after nine years in NRK she has come there that she is looking forward to new challenges. When she received the offer from TVNorge she thought that it was time to do something new.

– I have thought a lot on offer, and it has been a very difficult choice. I have had a incredibly well in the Norwegian broadcasting corporation, and it has been a very good place to work, ” she says.

Cohost says that the thought of doing something new, and the total package from TVNorge was it that tipped the scales.

– I will not add hide the fact that the OLYMPICS was also an important factor. I have been working with the OLYMPICS before and know how fun it is, ” says Rimmen.
