Carrie Fisher is dead – VG

Star Wars-the star has gone away. It confirms her immediate family.

Carrie Fisher died Tuesday morning, us time, after the massive hjerteinfarktet she was admitted to the hospital after a flight from London to Los Angeles.

There was little christmas eve that the news came about that the 60-year-old Fisher had a massive heart attack. She fell on the flight, and was rushed to hospital when the aircraft landed in Los Angeles.

Fisher will always be remembered for the iconic role of Princess Leia in the “Star Wars”, but she filmdebuterte already in 1975. It was in the comedy “Shampoo” with Warren Beatty.

Carrie Fisher married sangstjernen Paul Simon in 1983, but they divorced already the year after. Fisher was also a writer and has written several novels with clear switches to his own life.

She has been open about his illness as bipolar, and about his addiction to cocaine and prescription medsiner. In 1990, her autobiographical novel “Postcards from the edge” into a wolf, and Fisher himself had adapted the novel to screenplay. It’s about a former drug addict who is trying to get his acting on the ski again after rehabilitation.
