Anders Jacobsen giving away “71 degrees north” Award – kjendis.no

Sun went former ski jumper Anders Jacobsen (31) to lead the final of the 2016 edition of “71 ° north – Norway’s toughest celebrity” on TV Norge.

General Secretary of UNICEF Norway, Bernt G. Apeland is very pleased with Jacobsen’s monetary donation.

We are very happy and grateful that Anders Jacobsen chose to award the prize to our work in Syria. Inside Syria live 2.9 million children who have never experienced nothing but war, and many of them are displaced within their own country. Only half of Syria’s children have access to education. Investing in children’s future is to invest in Syria’s future, he said.



Travel householder

It is not the first time the former ski jumper has participated in a competition on TV. When he in 2011 took part in TV2 show “Shall We Dance” went it might not be good.

He was namely hospitalized with abdominal pain and underwent surgery for appendicitis, which meant that he was eventually forced to withdraw from the dance competition.
