Toralv maurstad has gotten kind – VG

Actress toralv maurstad (89) has been kind.

It confirms National Theatre in a press release.

It was see and Hear who first wrote about the beloved actor’s illness in today’s edition. And the National Theatre, Maurstad longtime workplace, in consultation with the family decided to go out with a confirmation.

– There are circumstances well, but in consultation with the family, we ask respect for both him and his family need peace in the recovery phase, according to the National Theatre’s press release, in which it further states that neither the theater or Maurstad family going to comment further.

for Dagbladet says Maurstad little sister, actress Mari Maurstad, that he is already in started with training and thanks to good shape and health, both hope and believe his sister that he will soon be back in full swing.

See and Hear writes that the battle hit toralv maurstad without warning three weeks ago on the farm his Nordfjord, where he was with a close friend. The friend acted quickly when Maurstad felt bad when the two sat yarn. He was quickly admitted to the hospital in Nordfjord – before being forwarded by ambulance to Oslo.

The play “Tordis + Alfred = Toralv” was a very entertaining account of how it was to grow up, in their time, two of Norway’s most famous actors as parents.

With parents Tordis and Alfred Maurstad – he was otherwise the couple’s only child – it was inevitable that the whole self grew into the theater world. He passed the matriculation at the Norwegian high school in Uppsala in 1945 and received his theater school at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in 1947 to 1949.

Theatre debut in Norway came at Trøndelag Theatre in autumn 1949 Nils Kiær lighthearted political analysis “The happy choice.” A few years later he moved to the New Theatre in Oslo, where he reaped triumphs also in musical roles.

It was pretty obvious that such acting talent also was appealing to the Norwegian film industry. Admittedly, he had been used already 11 years old who took children in legendary “Found” in 1937. But the real film debut was “Krane patisserie” in 1951. And the first starring role in “Andrine and Kjell” in 1952.

In all time, he has been among Norway’s most famous theater people, both as an actor and theater director.
