SEOGHØR.NO: Sunday died actress Doris Roberts 90 years old. Her son Michael Cannata says to People that her mother died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles.
Roberts acting career lasted over 60 years. She has won five Emmy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
In the 1950s, she began her career in several plays on Broadway in New York, but she became famous in the role of the overprotective mother of two, Marie Barone in the TV series “Everybody loves Raymond.” She played Barone from 1996 to 2005. Roberts also had guest roles in series such as “Desperate Housewives,” “The King of Queens,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Law & amp; Order. “
