Equipped with a pizza box that stencil and spray did the anonymous street artist Pøbel recently a quickly but sensational stunt on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. In a YouTube clip sees Pøbel walk over to Trump star, add pizza box over it, before he draws a “mute” symbol with the spray can. He then goes quickly on.
Soon after beginning people around him to notice what happened.
Several sites have picked stunt. Himself Vanity Fair calls it painted mute symbol as part of a larger vandalizing problem against Trump-star since he launched his presidential candidacy in 2015.
According to street art’s press officer, Jarle Hetland ABC print house, is Pøbel is now on travel with a director and photographer.
– “Mute” is an ongoing art project. I’ve tried to get a statement from Pøbel, but it seems like he wants the project to remain open so people can interpret it individually, writes Hetland in an e-mail.
Pøbel is from Stavanger. He and Bergenser Dolk was seriously known as the painted urban street art in abandoned buildings in Lofoten. The project called “Ghetto leper,” and they were both well known names in the world.
