Ingebjørg Bratland must cancel Nattjazz after fall – NRK

– She had a fall on a stone staircase in Geiranger yesterday. She thought at first it was not so serious, and we hoped the concert could go but the doctor recommended her to take it easy. She’s got a concussion, says press officer Roger Lygre Solvang Nattjazz VG.

– We have surely audience with us in wishing Ingebjørg Bratland good recovery and hope she can come back at a later date, says festival director Jon Skjerdal in a statement.

Manager Petter Singsaas says Bratland must take it easy the next few days, but that there is no reason to believe that several concerts to be canceled. Bratland has several gigs throughout the summer, partly Dalsmarken in Dalen June 18.

Ingebjørg Bratland, who Vinje in Telemark, debuted with “Berre me” in 2014. Last year came the sequel «Moon Sinn” . Earlier this spring she was a presenter during Spellemannprisen, together with Jarle Bernhoft.
