The first images of the adult Harry Potter – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): After the seven books about apprentice wizard Harry Potter, it was announced that a new history would come in the form of a play with accompanying script.

The plot of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” takes place 19 years later, that when Harry Potter is adult.

The story is written by J. K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany.

The first previews begin already next week at the Palace theater in London’s West End, while the official premiere first is July 30. The production is divided into two, so you can see one of the day and the other at night, or two consecutive evenings.



First pictures of the actors in the roles

Today is the first pictures of actors in character released, with Jamie Parker as Harry, Sam Clemmett as son Albus and Poppy Miller as Ginny.

JK Rowling is pleased with the casting, then brag Parker:

– He just IS Harry now. It’s a kind of relief to see him, he does it so right, says J. K. Rowling claimed a sort of press release on Pottermore, Rowling’s own website.

BBC said she – very careful – if Sam Clemmett as Harry Potter’s son.

– There is much I could say about Sam as Albus. But when we go into spoiler territory, so then I simply say rather that we could not have done a better casting.



Harry overworked father of three

When it was announced that there would be a new story about Harry Potter, the synopsis presented as follows:

“The eighth story. Nineteen years later.

It was always hard to be Harry Potter, and it is not much easier now that he is an overworked employee at the Ministry of Magic, husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry struggles with a past that refuses to be where it belongs, struggling his youngest son Albus with the weight of a family heritage he never wanted.

When past and present meet in threatening show teaches both father and son the uncomfortable truth: sometimes going dark from unexpected places. “

And autumn comes the film version of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”
