Norway was knocked out in Thursday’s semifinal and will unfortunately not find in Saturday’s Eurovision finals from Globen in Stockholm. There, only Sweden’s representative for the Nordic region, as also Denmark, Finland and Iceland are turned out.

– I repeat what I said at the Thursday night; I am very proud efforts of Agnete, but must only take note that Europe did not agree with us at home in Norway that “Icebreaker” was the best song, says Karlsen.

– Have you managed to think about what went wrong?

– It has been an incredibly eventful week, and for me – for the first time – it’s great to experience the whole Eurovision circus at close range, I love the such big events. It’s like being on the loose in a good store for me. But having said that, I see now that there can be a distinct advantage to be visible and clear in this circus – that there had been an advantage to show off. It is an experience I have done. But I emphasize that this is not meant as a criticism of anyone. Here all done a great job, both Agnete and NRK, said Karlsen.

Because of an unstable mental situation, had Agnete Johnsen take a break from all press conferences , fanmøter and delegation hits to concentrate one hundred percent on his stage performance in Thursday’s semifinal.

It held nevertheless not to qualify for Saturday’s final.

– You learn something new whole life, and I lie not down counting because of this. We bursts loose again next year. Then we’ll win, and I’m looking forward to!
