Ingebjørg Bratland in fall accident – VG

Folk-star Ingebjørg Bratland (26) has been in an accident and have to cancel the planned concert under Nattjazz.

It writes Nattjazz in a press release. Ingebjørg Bratland has been in an accidental fall,

and is not able to conduct the concert during the festival in Bergen coming Sunday.

– She had a fall on a stone staircase in Geiranger yesterday . She thought at first it was not so serious, and we hoped the concert could go but the doctor recommended her to take it easy. She’s got a concussion, says press officer Roger Lygre Solvang Nattjazz VG.

Now wants festival Bratland good recovery.

– We have surely audience with us in wishing Ingebjørg Bratland good recovery and hope she can come back at a later date, says festival Jon Skjerdal in a statement.

the festival has tried but have failed to find available substitutes, said the press release.

Bratland scheduled play under Dalsmarken in Dalen June 18, but it is not yet known whether also this concert will be postponed.

Bratland, from Vinje in Telemark, debuted with “Berre me” in 2014 and released sequel “Moon Mind” last year.

the artist also has several gigs throughout the summer.

Earlier this spring was Bratland presenter during Spellemannprisen, together with Jarle Bernhoft.

Bratlands manager Petter Singsaas have kke answered VG inquiries.
