Richard Dean Anderson wrote themselves into TV history as MacGyver after have ravaged the screen between 1985 and 1992 (and in many, many replays later!).
CBS has decided that the action hero will get new life, and in March it became clear that elections fell on 25-year Lucas Till, best known as Havok from “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” CBS has made ready a pilot episode that’s about that MacGyver recruited into a secret society, where problems are solved with unorthodox methods.
According to Variety, it has been a long casting process before they found Till, and many actors have been tried out. Director for the pilot episode is David Von Ancka.
