Frankly hotel king in this week’s “Late Night.”
In April it was announced that EAT-founder and hotel baron Petter Great Valley wife, Gunhild Stordalen, had a relapse.
Stordalen plague diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis. She was recently admitted to the University Hospital in Utrecht.
The treatment she received is the same as she did in November 2014. That is, a high dose of chemotherapy with stem cell support.

When asked by presenter thomas numme on how it goes with his wife after the relapse, taking Stordalen up good thinking time.
– we were early aware that we had to go through another round, he says in the “Late Night” studio.
Stordalen said that both are agnostics, but that it in such a situation are major forces in faith and hope. He explains that one of the positive that has come out of disease tenant is that they have come closer together. He also says that his wife is still busy with his project EAT.
– We never talked more together and have never been closer to each other, he says and continues:
– You have time to think about other than hotel openings. Gunhild must also save the world while she is sick, so she has really pretty busy with everything she is doing, quit hotel baron.
Dagbladet has been in contact with Petter Stordalen, who did not want to comment on the matter.
Career Conscious
It was in 2010 that Peter and Gunhild were married. The wedding took place in Morocco.
Gunhild Stordalen has previously told that she was concerned about food when she went into the board to the man’s hotel chain Nordic Choice. Eventually she realized how food connects challenges around health, environment and animal welfare.
– In the hotel industry constitutes food and drink a large ecological footprint, and the question of what we should serve on more than 180 hotels led us bluntly in a global knowledge gaps. We found that here there was no good answers for how we could be more sustainable, she has previously stated.
She started therefore EAT, an organization which, according to her will “promote new knowledge and mobilize politicians and business for healthier and more sustainable food production. “
Under celebrity Gala last year got Gunhild Stordalen price for this year’s green celebrity. It was husband Petter Stordalen who accepted the award in his wife’s absence.
