Cash-home opened to the people – Aftenposten

– This was something that would have meant more to my father than anything else, says daughter Rosanne Cash, who recently visited Norway, in a statement.

She and a number of family members were present when the newly restored, modest white house opened after being restored by the state university. The childhood home of Cash were part of a colony opened in 1935, where a number of jobless families were allocated houses, land and a mule in the wake of the Great Depression.

All recreated

Johnny Cash left home in 1953, but now the details of the time recreated in detail, using his little sister and brother Tommy.

– It’s like a time travel. Had Dad gone inside the house today, he would have been completely overwhelmed at seeing his strongest memories preserved for him and other people. I never expected anything like this, it’s been recreated in meticulous detail, said Rosanne Cash, according to Examiner.com.

Is true

She visited the house with his famous father when she was 12 years, and it was due and boarded up.

– He walked around and looked in every window, with a sense of loss.

Now think Rosanne Cash visitors will have an increased understanding of her father and the music he made, because “the songs that came from this place on earth is real.” (© NTB)
