The protagonist Tjorven was played by Maria Johansson. Today, she 60 years.
In an interview with DN.se tells the jubilant that she was only six years old when she auditioned for the role Tjorven.
– We got to do some simple things. I thought it was funny, she said.

Johansson continued acting even after we took farewell Saltkråkan. But in 1998 she got enough of life as celebrity, and went over to directing opera instead.
Later, she wanted to find out what it means to be an actor. This ended in a doctoral dissertation in 2012.

Johansson is currently the mother of two adult sons and lives in Stockholm. The big day is celebrated in two rounds.
– I and my best friend travel to the French Riviera with our men. In summer I travel with my sons to Iceland, she said.
