Woody Allen to NRK: – Always nice to open the festival – NRK

Today opened the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival and a number of famous personalities from the film industry, including the American director Woody Allen, was present.

– It is always good to show the film in Cannes. “Cafe Society” appears outside the competition, so it’s really comfortable. There is nothing at stake, he said.

– Besides, this gives me the opportunity to spend a few days in southern France, which is always a nice experience, says Allen.

– Why are you coming back to the relationship between men and women?

– If you go through the history of literature, film and drama, from Greek and continues into English and French, this is the main theme of life; the relationship between men and women.
