“The farm”-Oddvar wading in frierbrev – Seoghør.en

What is that I get angry? Oi, I don’t know. But anyway good to be done.

While several of this year’s “the Farm”participants constantly bust at loggerheads on tv, has Oddvar Jenssen (33) good to be exposed to, or engage, jean-baptiste lully – as the program is known to offer.

instead sørlendingen sailed up as a kind of benevolent rescuer, a likeable and nevenyttig guy who never has a bad word about anyone. And no neither has anything bad to say about him.

Konfliktsky

the Explanation is simple, we believe Jenssen itself.

I’m konfliktsky, and rarely a reason to argue with anyone. I can of course get irritated, but trying to not let it go beyond the other. One comes far with being positive and humble, tells realitydeltakeren, before he politely asks if he can take a shower.

33-year-old has rushed home from a anleggsjobb an hour and a half away, and meet us in the damp work clothes. The rain has whipped sideways all day, but Jenssen doesn’t seem to be the type that the complainant.

He is more keen to know about nabokompisen, who have been ordered to get in advance to warm up the house, put on the coffee to us.

Frierbrev

Even though the 32-year-old is back in everyday life after the “Farm”-stay, there is much that has changed since he came home.

In the living room at home on Skjernøy have appeared two additional sofas – so that the entire group of friends can gather when the “Farm” to be broadcast on tv. The interest for sørlendingen extends however far beyond the sørlandsøyas limits.

- It is very much through Facebook, where lots of foreign people want to hit me. It is a bit violent, but people have only good words to tell, so it does nothing. It is a little fun too.

Many of the requests coming from the opposite sex, who have registered that the 32-year-old is single.

- Yes, there is a part that asks if we should be boyfriends. It is very strange, and a little difficult to handle, it isn’t just used to be like that. I have written a little bit back and forth with some, but have not yet met some. But I don’t see away on the idea that it can happen again, ” says Jenssen, and smiles slyly.

Thrive in the community

And should he hit a he finds the tone with, which in this case should be bland and bubbly, stands Jenssen possibly facing a practical challenge.

- It sits far to move from the Skjernøy, if it was to be a theme. Very far, repeat realitydeltakeren.

He is born and raised here, on Norway’s southernmost inhabited island, a kvarters drive from Mandal centre. The island has about 400 residents – and with the nearest grocery store is several miles away, there is little that is reminiscent of storbyliv. Jenssen likes it that way.

I am very attached to home my, and thrive best in the village. Here I have friends and family, boating, and nature. It is in reason all I need.

Språkforvirring

Inside the “Farm”, several of the younger participants, especially from the Oslo area, discovered that Jenssen is not so concerned by the trend-term, or modern pop and samfunnskultur.

He has got explained what both “LOL” and “barista” means, but also the every so popular grønnsaken avocado.

- There are very few avokadoer that grows out here, you see. Yes, I know that they are sold at the grocery store, but I tend not to buy them. I buy some more apples, pears and that sort of thing, be chuckling Jenssen, who don’t mind people kidding with him.

- No, I don’t take myself too seriously. It’s just fun.

Lærermester Jenssen

And even if Jenssen have learned a few things out of the city on the “Farm”, it is probably he who has been taught the most.

I am a practitioner who has dabbled with many different things, both in childhood and on the job. It is very fun to teach to people who accept the lesson with joy … When you are sitting on a lot of knowledge, it is important to share.

- You are in all ways a role model?

- Huh-huh. I have in fact just been myself the whole time, and responded just as I feel for there and then. I have not gotten a single negative feedback, so when I have well done something right, ” says Jenssen.
