VG reviewer Stein Østbø, which evaluated the whole show, said after the outcome

– This was a big surprise, but no less enjoyable. And it was a real song that won. Kjetil Morland and Debrah Scarlett was among the few who managed to create an extra life to tune via the television screen, and it was enough important in relation to the contribution that was forhåndsfavoritt, “A well-cooked pizza” with Staysman & amp; Lazz.

He continues:

– ‘A Monster Like Me “is an atypical Eurovision song, but just this makes it a clear outsider. Remember Netherlands The Common Linnets last year took second place behind Conchita with the low-key country-ballad “Calm After The Storm” and represented something that was clearly non-typical Eurovision. It makes me believe in a nice location for Norway this year, concludes Østbø.

Glad forhåndsfavoritt

Stian Thorbjørnsen in Staysman & amp; Lazz was touched and fought back tears when he met VG after the final.

– I am incredibly happy. It has meant so much to be with. It’s cool, is that even though we play much concerts, so when we here out to a completely different type of people. Perhaps this is why we have received a lot of criticism too. But it’s crazy cool. We need not prove more now. We got a third! It’s so sick!

He praised Morland and Debrah Scarlett.

– They have an insane great song, and they are nice people, said the musician about the winning duo.

– We will continue to create catchy tunes that irritate the hell out of Stein Østbø, assured a grimacing Stian.

The duo got dice 1 of VG Østbø also today – see all match die here.

Erlend Bratland insured VG that he was not disappointed.

– It was only 3000 votes that separated. I begrudge them the victory. My goal was to get to Gold finals, but to get second place I had not expected! said a restrained Bratland.

Bettan and Endresen laughed and grinned for “defeat” and assured to VG that they do not preclude more MGP participation in the future.

– It has been a pleasure and an honor to be with. It was so fun to get to Gold Finals! We got incredible response, and we were almost knocked to the ground when we came out on stage and sang the song our the first time, told Endresen.

Also Alexandra Joner was happy, even though she did not fit in Gold Final .

– Everything went well! I feel that I now have lived the dream that was sequins and bling.

Ira Konstantinidis (17) is finals youngest hopes and absolutely fresh in the industry.

– I can notice that the others are more familiar with such situations. They have a safety I even hope to be in possession of a few years. Beforehand I pondered over whether we came to be enemies or rivals, but most are very nice.
