– There is a high probability that it will snow in Østfold on Thursday, said duty meteorologist Arild Mentzoni at the Department of Meteorological moss-avis.no.
Precipitation comes first as rain, but can go over to snow early in the morning. Meanwhile the temperature drops to around zero degrees, and thus the stage is set for chaos in traffic throughout the day.
The snow is expected to hit large parts of eastern Norway.
Lots of snow
It is expected over 25 millimeters of rain, and it is estimated this about it very much snow. For every millimeter rainfall becomes roughly a centimeter of snow.
