Martin and Tommy had to leave Star Game – NRK

Because of a technical fault with the voices in the program 2, it has been a participant “too much” in the Star Game. Therefore the two artists go home tonight. It was Tommy Fredvang and Martin Halla who drew the shortest straw.

Earlier this week they let themselves be seduced by Carmen, but both denied that this influenced tonight’s result.

– It was not Carmen’s fault, it was only highlight of the week, says Tommy to NRK.no.

Both he and Martin was praised by the judges, and Mona thought it was is unnatural that one with mustache could sing as bright as Martin. Solveig thought Tommy is a true tenor, and he has a beautiful sound.

– It sucks to break out, it has been an adventure without equal to be with. It’s insanely talented people in all aspects, says Tommy.

Both look back at Star Game as an experience, and although they’d rather do with further, they are happy to have come so far.

– Everything has been fun, but rock and rap were the funniest. That was what I did to the best. Bit sorry not to be with next week, I had a good thing going in gospel, says Martin.

With Martin and Tommy’s exit there is only one man left among the remaining five participants. Knut Erik Østgård must now alone try to become the first male participant who wins Star Game. He has not exactly odds with himself, as all previous finalists have been women.

At the beginning of the season started the male contestants up what they called the Foundation Star Fighters 2015 a union that would fight for male victory. Now it’s just a warrior again.

– Star Fighters is now dissolved and broken, so I have to fight alone, says Knut Erik.

Although he think girls are a nice bunch, it’s also sad that he is the only rooster in the basket.

– The pressure is increasing, but an old circus horse that mine works best under pressure, he said.

Next week is the first time participants will sing two genres on the same night, and there are contrasts heavy metal and gospel.

– Heavy is my home, but I’m also looking forward to the gospel. I am incredibly lucky to have been able to play me live each week, says Knut Erik.

Lot impressed

After the artists had shown his opera skills, came three singers from The Norwegian opera and sang an excerpt from The Magic Flute, and really showed how it should be done. One of these was Eli Kristin Hansveen, which itself was a participant in the second season of Star Game.

The experienced soprano was greatly impressed by the seven participants.

– I am so incredibly impressed effort and seriousness! I just want to say congratulations to everybody. The diving into head first, and it’s wonderful, she said enthusiastically.

The presenter Kaare Magnus was also involved in the break coverage from The Magic Flute. Former participant Eli Kristin Hansveen left.
