Ever since the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series was released in 2007, fans have been curious as to what’s going on with the young wizard.
Now it is clear that the story continues, and on stage.
The play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will premiere at the Palace Theatre in London next summer. It will take hold of the story where the books end, report Reuters .

The action takes place 19 years after the final battle between the evil wizard Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter.
In the play, we meet an adult Harry, who works in the Ministry of Magic and has three school-aged children. His youngest son Albus feels the pressure when he should start at the wizarding school Hogwarts.
“When the past and future are mixed together, realizing both father and son an uncomfortable truth: Sometimes darkness from unexpected places,” according to the description of the play.

Rowling has contributed
Already in 2013 it was announced that JK Rowling (50) had started to write a play based on the Harry Potter stories.
Rowling wrote the play with Jack Thorne (36), while John Tiffany (44) is directing.
