Steven Tyler threatens Trump with lawsuits – Side2

(Page2): Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has given Donald Trump 24 hours to drop the song “Dream On” from their campaign, if not he will be sued, according to celebrity website TMZ.

The American billionaire fighting for time to become the Republican presidential candidate, but has thus in the process riled Steven Tyler.

The reason must be that the billionaire has made use of the band’s song “Dream On” in his election campaign without permission.

According to the website shall Trump have previously been given a warning and asked to remove ballad, without that something has happened. Tyler believes that the use of the song implies that he supports Trump as president, something he has not confirmed that he is done.

Trump and Tyler has however emerged as friends on several previous occasions and Tylers lawyer Dina LaPolt confirmed to TMZ that this is not about politics, but that Tyler has always been concerned with the rights to his music.

– Steven has written 100 percent of “Dream On,” and this is about an illegal use of his property, says LaPolt.

According to Rolling Stone, it is not the first time this happens. Trump has in fact previously landed in Klinsj with both Neil Young and REM for using their music without permission.
