Agnete Johnsen will not attend Márkomeannu festival on Gállogieddi summer. The reason is personal reasons.
The Norwegian Eurovision participant, herself a Sami from Nesseby was scheduled stood on stage during the festival which starts on July 28. The performance is not realized. Agnete Johnsen has canceled due to personal reasons, writes Altaposten.
Agnetes manager Espen Nystad would not comment on the cancellation further.
– I have no comment beyond that we are pleased that the festival has found a great substitute, he writes in a message to VG.
substitutes who will play instead of Agnete Johnsen is namely not just anybody in Sami music.
Spellemannpris winner Niko Valkepää replaces namely Johnsen during the festival. He pops up on short notice.
– It’s so clearly a dreary message to get, but we are looking forward to showcase Niko Valkeapää to festival audiences ours, says Marita Eilertsen, festival to Altaposten.
