Top Gear boss reprimanded – TV 2

BBC Top Gear is about to round off the first season of the new Topga Gear, in the wake of Jeremy Clarkson , Richard Hammond and James May thanks for them.

The three previous presenters had already become very popular around the world. There is therefore no doubt that the new presenters have had big shoes to fill.

Even before the premiere, it emerged that there had been a number of challenges during the recording. The opening was also delayed. The ratings were lower than expected, although each episode was watched by an average of 4.4 million viewers.

Both viewers and reviewers have been particularly critical of the broadcaster Chris Evans.

Now BBC boss, Kate Phillips, according to the Mirror in England given Evans a clear message: Make major changes or disappearances.

major changes

Phillips will outright have abused its presenter, in a way that Evans never experienced before, according to sources of the newspaper.

She has stated that Evans should be less ” control freak “and micromanaging all the others. If Evans will not be part of it, shall Phillips have said that he can find something else to do.

She has in fact noted that Matt LeBlanc is more popular and also more familiar than his British presenter colleague.

An alternative should be that he takes over the helm of Top Gear.

Threaten to withdraw

the anonymous source to the Mirror also states that the other presenters will have a more prominent role, and that they increasingly become a team.

As Broom have discussed earlier, there have also been rumors that LeBlanc has given an ultimatum in which he demands that Evans yesterday, whether he should be further.

Jeremy Clarkson gives all new car program

– Something at once

Brooms editorial director Vegard Møller Johnsen followed Top Gear close in many years. He was in ours in England, where he got to meet the new presenters and see the new path and the new studio.

– What do you say about it when going on?

– First and foremost, we must remember that this is a rumor. Some parts of the press in England is known to be relatively lempfeldige with kildektrikken. But having said: Now it has been sufficiently concrete rumors that go on the same, that there is enough is much to suggest that things are happening.

All you want to know about new Top Gear

– Fussy

– Do you think it is right to take action?

– This is the others who are far more qualified to judge than me. But as a longstanding Top Gear fan, I have also made me an opinion about the new program. I am pleasantly surprised by Matt LeBlanc, while I admit that Evans did not quite hit. He gets a little too intense and fussy. It’s a little disappointing. But we must remember that this is the first season. It is possible that Evans can do something changes.

– What about the rest of the new gang?

– I have in any case very sense for the two youngest boys, Chris Harris and Rory Reid. Sabine is raw behind the wheel, but might seem a bit angstrengt front of the camera. It’s enough about the experience, and can get better.

We’ve only just put behind us the very first season. They must be given time to find fomen and make some adjustments. So the question is whether Chris Evans will, and can, be a part of it.

BBC has so far not commented on the case.
