Harry Potter may be the next Pokemon Go – NRK

The creators of Pokemon Go will work on developing a new Harry Potter version of the mobile game, according to music magazine NME.

Also game site The Bitbag writes that the magic is in the process to find their way to the real world mobile phones, in a new version of Pokémon Go.

Meanwhile writes several online commentators that the rumors do not hold in reality.

Pokemon go is a mobile game based on the 90s game Pokémon, where players walk around in the real world to catch virtual Pokémon monsters.



Augmented reality

  • AR adds information and meaning to an object or a place, and unlike virtual reality which is pure simulation of reality, takes augmented reality using real objects or places and adds additional context.
  • AR with webcam takes so you must print out a label that you hold against the webcam. Once the webcam detects the mark, it will work out a set of coordinates which is the basis for a 3D model drawn on the screen in real time, simultaneously with video footage from the camera.
